I see so many women feeling depressed and discouraged about their bodies, their weight, their health, and even their lives. They are starting to get concerned…is this the beginning of a big decline?
Well my dearest, it is time to REDEFINE “PAST YOUR PRIME”… because we have a whole lot of living left to do, and we want healthy and vital bodies to do that living in!
These symptoms are all signs that your hormones may be out of balance during this vital transition for your body…
And not only is your body out of whack…
This time of life is one huge transition in so many other ways too! Most of us have dealt with one (or several) big life event… death of a parent, partner, family member or dear friend, job loss, divorce, kids leaving the nest, spouse has an affair, relocation and downsizing. None of us seems to be spared.
And as women, we can start to feel invisible. Corporations don’t seem to be speaking to us anymore, unless it’s related to our bodies falling apart in some way! Weight gain, painful sex, wrinkles, peeing our pants…..this is enough to drive even the strongest sister into a bottle of wine or a pint of gelato!!
And as a 56 year old woman who still feels pretty awesome, it is really starting to piss me off!
Why? Because there is SO much more to getting older than getting wrinkled, fat and sick! Why doesn’t anyone talk about the great stuff?
You don’t have to feel this way any longer. I can give you the tools to shift out of feeling invisible, so you can Rock the Change!!

What if reclaiming your vitality was not complicated or difficult, but pleasurable & fun!
My name is Liz Murray. I am a Certified Transformational Health Coach and Hormone Cure Coach. I am a wife and mom to a 15 year old son. I am also living a vibrant, healthy and energized life, right now, at age 56. But, it took some doing to get here! I was stuck in a cycle of bingeing on sugar and not exercising. I felt exhausted all the time. Night sweats kept me from sleeping. Chronic irritability and mood swings were affecting my relationships and my wellbeing.
One day I looked at my reflection in the mirror and almost didn’t recognize myself. My face was bloated and puffy, with deep circles under my eyes. I craved red wine, chocolate and chips. I would go on restrictive diets and extreme exercise plans, only to give up after my body would protest. It seems like 25 pounds appeared overnight. My marriage suffered. I felt depressed and alone.
I knew this had to change. I needed to learn how to take better care of myself, and I yearned to teach other women like me how to transform this downward spiral. I enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in NYC, and became a Certified Integrative Health Coach. I learned two very important concepts at IIN. First, bioindividuality….that each person is an individual and has unique nutritional requirements. There is no “one- size fits all” food plan! Second, the concept of primary foods….that things like relationships, meaningful work and a fulfilling spiritual practice can nourish us, as much or even more than actual food. And if we are not being filled up in other areas, we may turn to food as a substitute for what we’re really needing.
Slowly but surely, I began to feel better. I trained with Dr. Sara Gottfried, author of “The Hormone Cure”, and gained a better understanding of how hormonal imbalance can cause many unique and uncomfortable symptoms for women that our doctors can sometimes dismiss, but that can be shifted with changes in diet, exercise, lifestyle habits and sometimes adding certain supplements.
I noticed both in my own experience and in that of my clients, that although we now had all this great information, we didn’t always follow through or sometimes fell into self-sabotage and didn’t always achieve the results we desired. I enrolled in a 9 month training in the Transformational Coaching Method (TCM), through Holistic MBA, and learned about how to shift disempowering beliefs about myself, so I could become different without having to remember to be different. This powerful work helped me see that my overeating and staying stuck were rooted in disempowering beliefs, and actually had a positive intention!
